PEORIA,Ill. — The Greater Peoria Business Alliance Friday announced the selection of Joshua Gunn as the new President & CEO of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce.
“I am honored to have been appointed as the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce & CEO Council President & CEO. It is a privilege to be part of two organizations that advocate for business prosperity and encourage the economic growth of the Peoria area. I will do my best to connect with the region’s business leaders, communities and our members to truly make a difference,” said Gunn.
Gunn has most recently served as Vice President of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce in North Carolina for the past four years.
Gunn will officially begin his position with the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce on July 1.
Speaking on behalf of the CEO board, Cindy Loos said, “We very much look forward to seeing the positive change that Mr. Gunn can inspire at the head of two influential regional organizations and welcoming him to this community as him & his family’s new home.”
