PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county reported no new deaths between Wednesday and Thursday related to COVID-19.
The area’s death toll remained at 30, according to the Peoria City/County Health Department.
Tazewell County surpassed the triple-digit mark, with six new cases putting the county’s count at 104. This is partially because of an ongoing outbreak at Reflections Memory Care in Washington, according to the Tazewell County Health Department.
The TCHD said there have been 14 cases at the facility, with three deaths. Tazewell as a county has seen a total of seven deaths.
Peoria County checked in with four new cases, to put Peoria at 410 total. Woodford remained at 31.
The area’s recovery rate improved to 73%.
Two local ICU beds were in use for COVID-19, both of which dealt with confirmed cases.
