PEORIA, Ill. — The number of ICU beds in use locally decreased from 11 to five in the last 24 hours.
The use of beds decreased, but Peoria and Woodford Counties saw an increase in COVID-19 cases, according to the Peoria City/County Health Department.
Peoria County reported six new cases for a total of 394, and Woodford reported three new cases for a total of 28.
Tazewell County remains at 91 confirmed cases.
The Tri-County region has reported 513 total cases since the pandemic began.
The recovery rate for local cases is 67.1%, 23.4% are at home isolating, and 4.1% of cases are hospitalized.
