PEORIA, Ill. — All three counties of the Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county region saw an increase in COVID-19 cases from Friday to Saturday.
Peoria’s case count went up 19, to 383, while Tazewell saw three additional cases, putting its number at 89. Woodford had one new case, for a total of 25.
Eight area ICU beds were in use for coronavirus, with seven occupied for confirmed cases and one for a possible case.
The recovery rate since the pandemic began stood at 66.4%. 24.4% of cases were in home isolation, while 3.8% were hospitalized.
The area’s COVID-19-related death toll stood pat, at 27.
