PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria emergency crews responded early Tuesday morning to four structure fires.
“Two of these structures were determined to be vacant and two were occupied. Three of the fires are suspected arson and was was determined unintentional,” Acting Battalion Chief Scott Strum said.
Strum said throughout the overnight shift, firefighters and paramedics also were called to numerous medical calls, motor vehicle collisions, a stabbing, a gun shot wound, a natural gas leak and fires set near a structure.
No firefighter injuries were reported.
