PEORIA, Ill. — The Tri-County region reported eight new cases of COVID-19.
Peoria County reported seven new cases adding up to is up to 241 reported cases, Tazewell remains at 74, and Woodford is reporting one new case at 22.
The Peoria City/County Health Department reported that 73% of cases are considered recovered, 17.2% are at home isolating, and 5% are hospitalized.
There are six ICU beds in use for COVID-19 patients, five for confirmed cases and one for a person under investigation.
There are a total of 18 non-ICU beds in use for COVID-19 patients in the local hospitals.
The hospitals did not report any deaths in the past 24 hours.
