PEORIA, Ill. –The hospital systems for the Tri-County region are reporting a slight increase in hospital bed usage.
ICU beds in use has increased from six to nine, with two persons under investigation and seven confirmed cases.
Non-ICU beds in use also increased by two for a total of 13 beds in use for confirmed cases and persons under investigation.
The hospital systems did report one death in the past 24 hours, but they were not a resident of the Tri-County region.
Peoria County saw three new cases, adding up to 181 total confirmed cases. Tazewell County remains at 67 and Woodford County has been stagnant at 18. The Tri-County has seen 266 in total.
The Peoria City/County Health Department reported that 82% of confirmed cases are considered recovered, while around 11% are at home isolating and around 2% are hospitalized.
