SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Illinois saw 2,508 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the past 24 hours.
That brings the state’s total to 110,304.
The virus has been reported in 100 of Illinois’ counties.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 67 additional deaths in the past 24 hours, a decrease from 75 that were reported on Saturday. The total number of lives lost related to COVID-19 is 4,856.
Labs across the state reported 25,674 tests collected in 24 hours.
The state-wide seven day rolling positivity rate from May 15th to May 21st is 12%.
