PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria-Tazewell-Woodford tri-county region has reached 166 cases of COVID-19.
Peoria County added five new cases Sunday, bringing the reported total of 108 cases.
Tazewell reported three additional cases with 45, and Woodford remains at 13.
15 area intensive care beds are being occupied by COVID-19 cases or suspected cases, with eight confirmed and seven possible.
No new deaths reported as of Sunday, as the area’s death toll remains at seven.
The Peoria City/County Health Department urges the wearing of face coverings in public places, such as stores or when you cannot maintain a 6-foot social distance space from others.
