PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria firefighters were called just before 10 p.m. Thursday to a building in the 3200 block of NE Adams on reports of a fire.
Crews found smoke coming from the windows and doors of the vacant commercial structure.
An attack hose was advanced through the front door and the fire was extinguished in a matter of minutes.
Firefighters ventilated the structure and extinguished the hot spots.
A Peoria Fire Investigator was called to the scene and determined that arson was the cause of the fire.
