PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police were called just after 7:15 p.m. Wednesday to a home in the 700 block of E. Virginia on reports of a possible shooting.
“A victim who had been pistol whipped was located in the 500 block of E. Gift. While speaking with the victim, it was determined that there was a possible crime scene in the 700 block of E. Virginia,” said Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson.
While checking the residence, officers located a man who had been shot in the arm. Neither man’s injuries were not considered serious.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.
