PEORIA, Ill. — Hearts have become a symbol of hope, support and solidarity during the coronavirus pandemic with the “Heart Hunters” campaign.
OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center is joining the “Heart Hunters” crusade by projecting a red light in the shape of a heart on the west side of the hospital after dark.
The display is visible from I-74 and the surrounding area.
“Health care workers on the front lines across the country are dealing with the devastating effects of COVID-19 every day,” said OSF Saint Francis Medical Center President Bob Anderson.
“The heart symbol seems to resonate, and if this small gesture helps spread the message of hope, we are happy to have it shine brightly.”
