PEORIA, Ill. — It’s the middle of April, and it looks like the Peoria area could see its biggest snowfall of the season Thursday night.
News Partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins predicts rain late Thursday afternoon, but it will turn to a high moisture content snow by evening and will continue all night.
“Peoria is in the four to six inch range with heavier amounts of six to eight inches of snow in Knox, Stark and Marshall Counties. The Quad Cities could see six to ten inches of snow,” Collins said.
The National Weather Service in Lincoln, Illinois has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 7 p.m. Thursday through 10 a.m Friday for the entire WMBD Listening Area.
