PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University continues to adjust on the fly to the coronavirus crisis.
An e-mail sent Tuesday to students and obtained by WMBD News said online instruction will continue through the summer semester.
“Perhaps they just don’t want to go to that communal situation living because they’re afraid, or their health was impacted, or they have to stay home to take care of someone else,” said Spokesperson Renee Charles.
Most students will be graded on a pass-fail basis, other than for students whose academic standing won’t allow for the option.
Some student employees will be paid through the end of the spring semester.
These students include ones on a work-study and graduate students.
As for what this means for the fall, Charles said it’s wait-and-see.
“We are going to have to look at [cutting] staffing,” she said.
“If we have fewer students coming back, we won’t need what we have right now.”
