PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley University took time to help those on the front lines fighting COVID-19.
Various departments from the Bradley campus, that included Bradley’s Engineering, Psychology, and Chemistry/Biochemistry Departments,
gathered thousands of personal protective equipment and other supplies.
The donation included more than 2,500 masks, dozens of boxes of medical gowns and several hundred boxes of gloves.
Those supplies were then loaded into a van Friday afternoon and were donated to a local hospital.
“Bradley is a community partner and we are happy to do our part to help. We must all work together to get through this extraordinary time,” said Bradley University Spokesperson Renee Charles.
An OSF employee at the donation site said Bradley’s donation is the largest local donation to date during this pandemic.
