CHICAGO — Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker is reminding Illinois residents how important filling out the 2020 Census is.
The Census is used as a tool for the federal government to decide how to distribute funding across the country.
Pritzker encouraged residents to continue to stay-at-home and take ten minutes out of their day to fill out the form. He also reminded residents that there is no citizenship question on the Census.
In Illinois, the local hubs are targeting their outreach to hard to count communities. Those communities include rural areas, college students, and others.
