EAST PEORIA, Ill. — Along with Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s shelter at home order, East Peoria will close down city facilities until April 7.
EP fire and police will still provide essential services to the community, and Public Works will continue to pickup garbage and recycling.
Citizens can still make water bill payments through mail, placing them in the drop-box on the south side of city hall, or online.
Business licensing and applications done through the City Clerk’s Office can be done through the phone, email, mail, or also the city hall drop box.
Building inspections and code enforcement are temporarily suspended, with an exception for life safety or emergency inspections. Citizens can still submit complaints through the phone or through Access East Peoria at the city’s website.
The Eastside Centre will be closed to the public. All memberships will be placed on hold, and the gym will be professionally cleaned. Home exercises will be shared through the facilities Facebook page. Athletico Physical Therapy will still see patients at Eastside using the entrance under the Athletico awning.
