CHICAGO, Ill. — Governor J.B Pritzker announced during his daily update that there has been one death in Illinois related to COVID-19.
“We lost an Illinoisan today to COVID-19,” Pritzker said. That brings the total to 160 confirmed cases in 15 counties across the state.
Pritzker said it was a woman from Chicago in her 60’s who had close contact with another confirmed case of the virus.
There is a confirmed outbreak in a long term care facility in DuPage County, 18 confirmed infected.
Dine-in services with restaurants will be closed until the end of the month. Pritzker is working to get delivery services pair with restaurants.
Price gouging will not be tolerated in the state of Illinois.
