PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded to a home invasion Friday morning in the 1500 block of W. Forrest Hill.
The victim told police he was robbed by three men who took his vehicle.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, 20-year-old Marcellus Brown, led officers on a short chase before ditching the car.
Brown was arrested on multiple charges including reckless driving, being unlicensed, resisting a peace officer, going more than 35 mph over the speed limit and aggravated assault on an officer.
Brown was booked into the Peoria County Jail upon arrest.
Peoria Police have not located the other three men involved in the home invasion.
The incident remains under investigation.
