* Until 115 PM CDT Saturday.
* At 110 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding continuing
in numerous locations across the flood warning area, including
Roanoke and Peoria. Up to 4 to 7 inches of rain have already
fallen. An additional half inch to one inch of rain could occur
the rest of tonight and Saturday morning.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Peoria, Galesburg, Canton, Eureka, Lewistown, Lacon, East Peoria,
Morton, Washington, Bartonville, Chillicothe, Creve Coeur, West
Peoria, Metamora, Germantown Hills, Abingdon, Knoxville, Marquette
Heights, El Paso and Henry.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 39 between mile markers 11 and 40.
Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 14.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 34 and 100.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
