East Peoria Police and emergency personnel responded to a call from Boater’s World, at 1000 Bass Pro Shops Drive, around 11 a.m. Saturday, indicating someone was found in the river face down.
Scanner traffic later indicated that the Tazewell County coroner had been notified, and was called to the scene.
