In less than 24 hours, two shootings have occurred in the East Bluff in Peoria.
Tuesday, Peoria Police responded to a Shotspotter alert of shots fired in the 200 block of E. Corrington. Police received an additional call of a man down on Peoria St. near Maywood.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers located the male victim who suffered severe life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Two masked suspects fled the scene.
The scene is under investigation.
